I have been seeing Dr. Hagan for about 10 years. Every time I go in there he is very thorough and takes the time to explain what each medication does and how they will or will not help. Dr. Hagan ask appropriate questions and allows for a response. He is a psychiatrist, so he does medication management not talk therapy. He wants to make sure you are feeling okay and the medication is still working. He is not there to be a therapist. With this being said, he does listen and cares about the well being of his patients. Dr Hagan’s willingness to share some of his personal experiences with retirement and what I can expect was very welcome and appreciated.
Mr. Hagan is the best doctor that knows what he is doing and helped me go from unproductive and late all the time to productive and aware. He gave me helpful tips that I follow to this day. I'm happy he is my doctor.
I was so disappointed by my visit with Dr. Hagan. Office staff was very nice but he was not. I followed up with him upon the recommendation of my primary care for what she thought could be ADHD or Anxiety. I answered most all the ADHD questions yes and all of the anxiety questions yes on the questionnaire that he has you do before watching a 13 minute video about ADHD meds. I was then told though that I bring everything on myself (after only talking about 3 min) and that if I had ADHD, it was the mildest form he’d ever seen ... read more
Very kind doctor and easy to talk with.
I suffer from severe depressive disorder. After losing my second family member to suicide I decided to give Dr. Hagan a call. I was a current patient with a therapist in his practice. She mentioned to me a treatment for depression called TMS. I decided to make a life changing decision, I called Dr. Hagan’s office and Jesse answered the phone. He took his time and talked to me and answered all of my questions. I then went to see Dr. Hagan. The only thing I will say is watch out for Rosie….she’s so cute you may have to be sepa... read more
I came to Dr Hagan because I thought that none of my antidepressants, antianxiety and sleep meds worked. Then he gave me the questionnaire and we discovered I am ADD/ADHD. Having these diagnoses and his descriptions of the characteristics of them, my whole life makes sense for the first time!
Please see my initial description. It summarizes everything. There is a reason I referred at least 5 close friends and family members. They were/are still patients aside from the ones that moved out of state to further pursue their careers.
Dr Hagan has helped me so much. It's shameful to have issues you can't control that in return make your life harder. He really heard me and made me feel not ashamed but enlighten. He taught me the fundamentals of my problem and I been doing the work. His son Jessie is a awesome staff manager. They have it going on there.
