I was so scared when I learned I was going to lose my tooth. Twenty years ago, I had an accident as a kid and ever since, my tooth has been through the ringer. I needed a root canal twice and gum surgery and then eventually it was too loose from bone loss that I needed to have it out. A coworker recommended Dr. Fiori for the whole procedd and I couldn't be happier. The implant is doing great and I was surprised at the reasonable price, especially since Palo Alto area can be way overpriced

I went to Dr. Terry Fiori for a second opinion. My surgeon wanted to extract two more teeth (he already took out two!) because him and my Prosthodontist wanted to do more costly implants. Dr. Fiori said he could extract the teeth and place implants, no problem, but he recommended a more conservative approach with the LANAP laser and the teeth are doing GREAT two years later. Makes you wonder who you can trust in the dental field and whether they truly care about their patients or their pockets.
I came to Dr. Fiori almost three years ago for a second opinion. My Prosthodontist and Surgeon wanted to take two more teeth out to replace with implants. When Dr. Fiori saw me, he said he could take the two teeth out and replace with implants, no problem, but we both felt it was unnecessary. He had a more conservative treatment recommendation - to do the LANAP laser on the teeth and now, over two years later, the teeth are doing great. One Doctor recommended full mouth LANAP surgery on every single tooth and it was going to cost over $8,000! I saw Dr. Fiori and he found I only needed several minimal areas treated and a good cleaning. I saw his hygienist and had the laser surgery on the few back teeth all for under $1,000... 6 months later and my General Dentist is so pleased with my gums and teeth, he said he's now referring patients to Dr. Fiori because he can trust his work and integrity. Excellent surgeon! Dr Fiori is very knowledgeable, caring and sincere. He makes sure his patients are very comfortable before starting any treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr Fiori to my family members or close friends!
My entire life, I neglected my teeth. Over time, I lost a few and many were simply hanging on. I came to Dr. Fiori a few years ago with missing teeth, infections, pain, bad breath and bleeding gums. The office is tasteful but modest leaving 1st impression that you are not going to be charged exorbitantly. Same staff for at least 7+yrs I have been customer. All are friendly and personable as well as extremely helpful tackling insurance issues. The doctor is great - I wish he could be my general dentist rather than just my periodontist. Dr Fiori involves you in all details with thorough explanations. His care is genuine!
I went to Dr Fiori after discussing my gum problems with other oral surgeons. Terry was very honest, nice, capable, effective, and ultimately cheapest--he won't recommend any work that isn't absolutely required. He worked with me to save my teeth rather than just pull them out and get implants (what the other guys suggested). I still have them 15 yrs later! He will give you the realistic story and make the most appropriate recommendation. Very highly recommend Dr Fiori. One of the "good" guys.
