I never got to see Dr. Piper. His associate, Dr. Hemmer, was cool and offered me great assistance. The reason for the low rating is because of his surgical scheduler, Kim. I found her to be lacking compassion and really unwilling to assist me with Insurance issues. As a result, I've been forced to find a different surgeon, when Piper was the one I really wanted to see. I'm supremely disappointed with the whole system.
He as always made me feel comfortable he explains every I trust him with any surgery I would recommend him to any one I have told Alot of people all ready. Piper you are number 1 in my book
I would recommend Dr. Piper and Dr. Hemmer to any one considering back surgery. The surgeries he performed on myself were a herniated disc and fusing the 5 lower vertebrae. It has been over a year since the lower back surgery at 66+ years I golf, Bicycle, mow 6 acres of grass. I am able to all of these without the pain I had previously.
