Well to be seen by a doctor when you go into the ER with heart issues would be a great start! I went there today at which time they hooked me up to an ekg which discovered that my heart was racing for no reason following a heart attack.. you would think at this time I would be seen in a timely manner since my past heart issues... but after waiting In the lobby at which time I finally complained to the front desk they then informed me that it would be an additional half hour wait! RecommendedThree visits to the emergency room in 4 days followed by a week-long stay with my mother and I have to say everyone we encountered here has been wonderful. I hate to say that time spent in a hospital was a great experience, but it was an overall great experience.
My wife, daughter, and myself just welcomed our baby boy Cobi into the world on January 3rd, 2019. I cannot express how pleased we were with our nurses in labor and delivery. They made the whole experience so easy and relaxed.
good, caring, emergency crew helping me. then up to floor 5 where I am now receiving same good help. wonderful people while I know have their own concerns in life but still carry on with smiles, care and listening and doing about my concerns. prayers for them !

My brother is receiving Quality Care from TGMC. Thank you all so so much Update: My brother Robert Gerald Billiot a patient at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center was readmitted to Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma, Louisiana on November 14th. He had a blockage. Had a Nasogastric Tube placed. Was nothing by mouth till yesterday. Yesterday was started on a liquid diet. The diet is to advance as tolerated. I was there for 11 days recently on the 4th floor telemetry unit. I couldn't have asked for better care from my nurses Retta, Austin, and Jessica. They were some of the most outstanding professionals that I have had in a hospital. Even the food service and housekeeping staff were incredible. Sharifs with food service made my days more pleasant with her genuine smile and dedication to her job. Sierra with housekeeping was always very cheerful and attentative. I have to give a shout out to TGMC Emergency dept. My dad was a patient this morning and the staff was extremely helpful, empathetic and on the ball when my dad had to be transferred to another facility. Thank you all so much Lisa R., Andrea, Dr. Roberts, Jessica, Amber and Darin and so many others that took care of my dad. ❤️❤️I always knew you all were the best! Thank you all!!
