My dying father spilled his coffee all over himself. It took 48 minutes for a nurse to respond. I had to press the nurse call button 3 times. My niece came and went to the nurses station (3rd floor) and the response was we Don’t know where his nurse is. 48 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow I will file a formal complaint
I have only 1 complaint. I was treated horrible by arrogant cocky trauma surgeon ....
I came to talk to a social worker because I'm being emotionally abused by my stepdad and they refused to assist me. I just want someone to talk to, and to help me resolve this, without being admitted to the ER; but apparently that's too much to ask for. I feel like it shows how they're all about money and not caring for their patient.
The ICU nurses Lizzie and David are extreme assets to the Regional staff. They really made my stay more comfortable and for that I thank them. Plus Lisa the 3rd floor tech. Oh my gosh there is so much to say about her but I'll keep it short and sweet. Offer her anything never loose her because if they do it would be a travesty.
Apparently, I had a stroke about 0115, 8/14/19. Was admitted to Regional Hospital at 0148. Was given ATP shortly thereafter. Doctors and nurses were surprised at how fast and how thoroughly I recovered as within a short time I had full functionality back. I'm back to normal now, as close to normal as I've ever been that is. I'd like to thank all who cared for me at Regional Hospital while I was there, STAR Ambulance Service, and all who showed concern. God works in mysterious ways!
