Parents, don’t waste your time and nerves. Today was our fourth attempt— yes, the fourth one! What a nightmare. They still didn’t accept us. I’ve never had to go through such a process even when applying for a serious job! It really felt like some kind of discrimination — maybe national or something else, I don’t know. But the result is the same: we were not accepted after four attempts. So please, don’t waste your time, and energy. There are many judo clubs in Los Angeles that welcome everyone without any discrimination.

I brought my son to training in Tenri Judo. Such training must be in every judo club! The training lasted one hour and thirty minutes. That's how long a quality workout should last 💪🏼👍🏼. Most trainings in LA limit workouts to one hour. And we know that's not enough. But unfortunately, the quality of training in many clubs is lacking. In Tenri Judo they teach traditional Judo as it should be. I admire the Senseis of this place. As it seemed to me, this dojo is not for beginners. This is an excellent training environment for those new and experienced in judo. The instructors are thorough in their workout lineup and they help everybody who has a question. I visited here prior to the USA National competition and was welcomed with warm smiles and positive attitudes. When I come back to the area, I will be back again to train with this crew.
