I should have known right from the start. The owner made a big deal that he is an ordained Minister and honest. Red flag there. He then asked if he could call me by my first name and when I said yes he the repeatedly called me his friend. I described the issue I saw on my roof, a missing shingle, and asked him to look around up there and let me know what else needed to be done and how much it would cost.
