I have a Breast Cancer scared last year and was referred by my OBGYN to Dr. Furman. It took 2 full months to finally get the answer that I don’t have cancer, just very thick tissue on my breast. His last Receptionist/Nurse will not answer my calls (because I need their referral to have a special Mammogram done) and finally I have my Doctor friend to call and she picked up the phone right away. UPDATE: DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR.. I SHOULD HAVE UPDATED THIS IN 2015...I WOULD HAVE DIED IF MY PLASTIC SURGEON WOULDN'T HAVE CAUGHT MY INFRCTED SEROMA THAT FURMAN JUST KEPT DRAINING.. I LOST SO MUCH TIME, WORK, AND ALMOST MY LIFE BECAUSE OF HIM! Dr Furman is AMAZING! I have not felt so comfortable in a stressful situation as I have in his office. Excellent physician with a caring bedside manner. Always takes the time to listen and answer questions. Very thorough with testing and diagnoses. Dr Furman performed a double mastectomy on me 2 years ago - (with immediate reconstruction to follow). I was terrified the 1st time I walked in his office, but was quickly relieved and felt at ease by the care of him and his staff. I am 100% pleased with my results and had no complications. Dr Furman is a very compassionate surgeon with a gentle bedside manner. He takes his time to listen to my concerns. I highly recommend him.
