I don’t like how the hygienists try to suggest medical advice and treatment. You see the dentist for a max of 2min and sometimes you wait in the chair for 30min or more. The lady who put fluoride on my teeth got it all over my lips and they keep sticking together. Also fluoride cost me $60 with insurance which is the most I’ve ever paid for fluoride treatment. Also kinda odd I did not receive a care package like most other dental offices. I’m moving and won’t be using Tend again.
Tameka and Dr Sijuwade were amazing! After having my teeth cleaned they did a scan and I’m finally doing clear aligners to fix an ongoing bite problem to prevent further damage to my teeth. I’m so excited to have a perfect smile in a shorter timeframe than I thought. I also got my teeth whitened and the whole process was really great. They answered all my questions, explained every step of the process in detail, and were very friendly. Overall a really wonderful experience at Tend.
The team at Tend is always great. Their space is always clean and comfortable and they’re great at sharing information. It’s also super easy to book appointments through their app. But what’s been most helpful for me is that everyone there is very understanding and patient with people (like me!) who have a fear of dentists.
They told me to make a deposit for a procedure they said was covered by insurance, only for me to discover it wasn’t covered by insurance. I have asked them 3 times for a refund of the deposit, and they still haven’t completed it 3 1/2 months later.
