Dentist was great. But, after I checked out of my appointment I was informed that I had a $400 outstanding balance from 2024 (2 years ago). This was the first I’ve heard of this outstanding balance. I’ve heard Tend rips you off, but I didn’t experience it until now. Wouldn’t recommend due to this issue. If you’re ok with large balances, the dentists are good. — Editing- upon checking my Tend payment/billing portal, I have an outstanding balance of $0. Not sure where the receptionist saw I had a $400 outstanding invoice.
I was shocked by my experience at TEND golden triangle. I went in for a simple cleaning and was told I'd need 5 additional visits...costing thousands more. They couldn't even do a simple cleaning in one visit...I was told insurance. requires 2 visits (which of course makes no sense - its clearly an attempt to bill twice).
