I came to this ER with symptoms of carbon monoxide exposure, including lethargy, lightheadedness, difficulty breathing, nausea, and a headache. While the actual medical care I received was appropriate, my overall experience was frustrating due to poor initial triage, dismissive attitudes, and hostage-like delays in discharge. Cut my finger off last weekend and the nurses were awesome, best time I’ve ever had in an emergency room. Kiley and Haley took great care of me the entire time i waited for surgery. Hopefully i won’t return but if i do i hope they’re working.
5/23 I went to the ER in excruciating pain. Spent the night in the ER and they confirmed I had life threatening blood clots. Two doctors felt I needed to be admitted. An hour later a doctor I had never seen before said I was being discharged without treatment. I told them I thought it was a bad idea. I was discharged anyway and sent home with a prescription. 5/24 I was in so much pain I had to go back to the ER. The doctor who sent me home said he was wrong about my blood clots.
