My daughter has been seeing Dr. Teliho for 4 years now. He has been incredibly open to discussing her condition which has been complicated with long covid and to try many different avenues for treatment. At one point she lost her insurance and he advocated for her to get it back. He clearly cares about his patients. I feel like we are making some progress with him and that he will be there as we need him.

Dr. Teliho is wonderful and he truly cares about his patients. He is a great listener, responsive communicator and extremely knowledgeable in many different modalities of psychiatric care. He is open to helping the patient explore the treatment options that feel right to them, without insisting on his own medication preferences over those of the patient. I have been consistently impressed with him and am grateful for his support, advice and skill over the years.
I have ADHD and I'm a college student. My meds got stolen one day during school and when I asked Dr. Teliho if he could let me refill a few weeks early, he actually told the pharmacist to withhold it until a later date (I know this because when I went to the pharmacy to ask about when I will be able to get my refill, a pharmacist said "that's weird, it says the doctor said not to give the medication until a certain date").
