by MD I have had a timing belt replaced on Honda Van, Water pump and brakes on Dodge Pick-up and both times was treated fair and recieved excellext service with no need to return for any problems. Best of all, the rates were much less than quoted elsewhere

Extremely Terrible Time I had a bad ignition tumbler, at least that is what they have "fixed" I have had to take my car there on a weekly basis for the past 4 months because my key gets stuck in the ignition again, I JUST got back from picking up the car AGAIN and the key is stuck AGAIN. The Dash lights also no longer work. Beware!!! Parts markup is insane auto knowledge is lame. I was refereced to this shop and told they were good "B.S." I have never paid $3500.00 in repairs and not been able to drive a car untill I got took by these clowns. They put a starter on my classic Mustang that malfunctioned and stripped the teeth on the flywheel :( I went there to see if they could rebuild the engine and Bruce told me I didn't need that "had good compression". Great, Great, Great Everybody hates having to take the vehicle into the shop for repairs. I know I don't want to be the one to fill the mechanics wallet. My family and I all use this mechanic. They are upfront and honest with you. They've came straight out and told me that certain things would just be a waste of money, or vice versa. Great place, great people, good job!!

Honest -- period. These guys have helped me and saved me time and money on numerous occasions. They have gone above and beyond on every visit. They have made some repairs I thought were going to be hundreds and ended up costing much less. Highly recommend.

Tejas Automotive Technology fair and honest I have used Tejas Automotive for years. They are reasonably priced and tell you the truth. I hate going to the dealership and use this shop every time I have an option.

over charge on parts i spent over 7 grand on repairs and parts when they had finished i had a bill for parts over 3 grand. the parts mark up was unbelievable they must have marked up well over a grand in parts. unnecessary to do that to a customer. read your invoice and check your prices. they'll get you. i wouldn't go back or recommend them. dishonest practice beware. do your home work. at least the put the part numbers on the invoice i did some research and found the have marked up every single part big time. not just a fe... read more

HONEST, DEPENDABLE! Hats off to the crew at Tejas! They have taken care of family and friends for several years and they always tell you the truth and don't overcharge! You do get what you pay for, plus they go the extra mile. I recommended a friend for what looked like a much more serious problem, and it ended up being a simple, five dollar part.....my friend had to beg them to take $20. Great neighborhood mechanics that enjoy helping neighborhood people! Please go there!
