This place is nearly always packed, and with good reason. This restaurant has been the place for "gringos" to enjoy good Mexican food, good company and potent potables. The stone walls and lack of windows make it a bit cave-like, but the bright orange booths give it a zip of fiesta color and an unpretentious feel. Known for the Green Corn Tamales and Chile Rellenos, it also offers burros, chimichangas and tasty margaritas.

RecommendedIf anyone likes real Mexican foods then that’s the place to go.
We are from Chicago and it was Our First time at TEE PEE and it definitely won’t be our last time ! Very delicious and I recommend the Mexican pizza ... soooo yummmy Also the waiter went out of his way to have them make an al pastor taco ! Dammm it was sooooo good ❤️

This place has been a part of my life for over 50 years. The quality is constant and the people are the best. I have been part of their family for generations, at least in an honorary level!
Not huge reviewer but I order the suicide diet special. This special is under the section called specialty plates which states that they come with beans, rice and a side of lettuce. When my food arrived it come with none of the sides. I checked the menu once again and brought it to my servers attention. He said I was incorrect, this specially plate doesn’t come with any of the sides noted above on the menu.
