HORRIBLE!!! THE MEANEST, HORRIBLE, RUDE woman owns this place along with terrible staff. We paid a lot of money to throw a beautiful party here and the owner was drunk, rude, class-LESS and shady. I warn you, do not set foot in this place. The owner and staff were drinking and I think drunk. When we asked for napkins we were given a finger point as to where we should get them ourselves. Great Place for Partying Amongst Fancy Cars Ted's Garage is a find in Downtown Birmingham. Owners Ted and Debby Thomas have converted an old warehouse into a large space where car specialist Ted houses and maintains antique cars, while Debby helps you throw the party, wedding, reunion or any other type of gathering you may be planning. Worse Night Ever Had a party at Ted's Garage and was horrified and embarassed by the way my guest were treated by the owner and staff. Owner and staff were rude and very unprofessional. From the minute we walked into the door we were treated with disdain and it went downhill from there. I still can't believe how they treated a paying customer. I have asked around and understand that this has happened before.
In shock I am still in shock that Ted's Garage is in the hospitality business. The wait staff followed guest into the restroom, called the guest names and searched personal belongings. The security staff was very unprofessional. It is amazing that a venue with so much possibility but limited staff professionalism is still in business.
