Ted is such an incredible acupuncture teacher - kind, compassionate, and genuinely supportive. He played a huge role in my learning and growth, always sharing his wealth of knowledge in a way that felt approachable and real. I just attended Ted's workshop on the use of acupuncture to treat addiction and it was amazing. His compassion and the depth of understanding he was able to convey to us about addiction really touched my heart. And I really appreciated his philosophical and psychological perspectives on how to treat this very complex condition, all delivered with his usual passion. His stories about the work he has done to support this population is truly inspiring.

I've been to Ted van Hemert, R.Ac for Acupuncture in Victoria, BC many times and can't speak highly enough about his heartfelt care, medical expertise, and super comfortable clinic. In a city where most clinics are on busy streets and full of environmental challenges, Ted's neighbourhood and interior space are much more conducive to a positive experience and deep healing.

I initially saw Ted for one singular complaint, and ended up addressing a deeply-rooted pattern which has truly improved life overall. This is what sets him apart as a practitioner!
