I love the Teamsters. What gets me is some of leadership.How can they (IBC) let our company (YRC frieght)send the membership a proposal for a contract without collective bargaining, is beyond me
RecommendedI'm a teamster at YRC Freight and we're in the middle of extending an already existing extension. If you work at YRC or know anyone who does plead with them to vote no. Don't be bullied and don't believe the lies that management is telling us.
When I worked for MERCK Pharmacuticals/MEDCO we were Teamsters & I can say it was the best experience I ever had!! Sad the co. moved our facility to be handled out if state!!

2014 Another substandard 3 year contract for Atlantic County workers represented by Teamsters Local 331. Management (for clarification 95% of management are just the regular joe workers like me just not represented by a union) got/get 2% with no representation. (They also get 5 years paid medical after retirement. Teamster members get 3) I got 2% (last Teamster contract I got even less then 2% management got) but I will pay around $800 in union dues this year. So can someone tell me exactally what I get for the $800?? Enligh... read more
