Bakersfield is a great place to live
Even though these are townhomes noise travels throughout the units. Walls are paper thin, little to no insulation which results in being able to hear annoying neighbors next door. From them going up/down the stairs to closing doors, to their pets parking it can all be heard from your unit. Manager on site is kind and helpful but in these matters it is an issue with the construction of the buildings. Parking can be an issue, and parking lot is not gated.
Honestly, I moved to Bakersfield two years ago and have lived here at the Teal Townehouses since then. The townhouses are always clean, there are no bugs pest control comes out and sprays regularly, landscapers come weekly, and the maintenance guys as well. The new manager/landlady Jo is great at her job she's so friendly if you have any issues or problems she gets back to you and whatever you needed done quickly. really bad apartments full of bugs office always close everything falling apart never fix anything rent to expensive for this services
