My fiancee and I went here for a Christmas present and it was an amazing, eye-opening, fun experience! Lauren helped us out and she was a tea guru. We will definitely be back!

TeaGschwender is a staple in my life. I visit the East Lakeview shop almost weekly stocking-up on loose leaf tea, or grabbing a cup to-go. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always friendly - continuously giving me recommendations and extending fun tea facts. The tea tasting event are also a favorite! I look forward to learning new tea-factoids as well as sipping unique flavors. I couldn't ask for a better tea shop experience.
I'm absolutely hooked on Earl Grey #69 and Earl Grey Lady Violet. I have cup of each every day. I wish there was a store closer to me, so I never run out of them!

My boyfriend and I stopped in TeaGschwender on a Chicago Food Planet food tour. Hannah was incredibly friendly and full of information about tea and willing to talk to us/answer any questions we had. I have never enjoyed tea, but the tropical iced green tea she prepared for us that day was absolutely delicious!
The quality of their tea is stellar. I love the integrity of the company too. Highly recommended.
