2 years there. These words come to mind: lazy, dirty, gross, rude. And CRUEL. They use sticky traps to catch pests. That's a terrible thing to view in your place of residence, and a barbaric way to kill a living creature.
Let me preface by saying, I'm someone who is extremely tolerant in terms of where I live. TBS Properties is the worst management company I have ever rented from. They are so rude and completely disregard their tenant’s maintenance requests. It took me months to even get a key to my mailbox and the oven was never fixed. I made many requests and almost none were fulfilled. Do NOT rent from TBS Properties. I repeat, do NOT rent from TBS Properties. I live on Cornelia in Lakeview and have had SO many issues. They have electric baseboard heaters which are truly the worst thing on the planet. My apartment is always cold AND for the last 3 months (all of winter) my energy/heat bill has been over $350. This last month my energy bill was $515. For a ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT. And the pipes in my bathroom have froze 4 times this year and once last year. Don’t live here if you don’t want to be screwed over and treated like complete garbage. Have had an incredibly frustrating experience with TBS Properties, and it’s only been three months. The apartment was renovated before moving in. The renovation was sloppy and clearly rushed (holes not filled by plumbing, grout not covering cracks between tiles, dents/marks on brand new cabinets, massive clog in shower drain). Terrible management, filthy and unsafe property. There was blood and feces in the bathroom when I moved in, as well as code violations on the back decks. After 6 months of renting, the company suddenly sends me a letter of fees I apparently never paid. I sent them the proof and they changed the reason for the fee. Dishonest, slime ball company, STAY AWAY!!!

Agnes is an evil, racist, homophobic slimeball. Over a dispute concerning a tiny repair she exploded and called me a "nigg&r f@ggot" and hung up. Of course, the repair hasn't been made yet, and considering TBS' record, it never will be. It's pretty ironic she used that language considering her English competency is at or below a third grade level.
