My wife and I have been going to Taylor's for about 15 years and have had 2 bad experiences over that period. The first they had no control over, the air conditioning broke down in the middle of July although the food was very good where we were seated was like a sweat box. Love Taylor's so much! Great product for a manageable price. The staff is attentive and polite and the wait is never too long. Parking is crappy when it is busy, though.
Only Anita's friends need go - others stay out. – With the Open Table reservation we were treated like lepers. We checked in 15 minutes before our reservation time and were seated 50 minutes past our reservation time. We checked five times with Anita, the owner, and were told each time that we were second on the list. Seven groups were seated before we were, including three groups that were the same size as ours. steak ordered MR served MW and refused to serve another – I went to Taylor's last night for a friend's birthday, outside patio is nice, server was pleasant. Ordered a bottle of champagne and salads, all were fine. I ordered my steak MR and when it arrived obviously MW, I told the food runner that it was not cooked how I ordered it. Great Steak, Bad Service – If I were to just rate the steak I would have given this place 5 stars. The Steaks are just as good as mastro's or ruth chris. They have the best rack of lamb I have ever eaten. The service on the other hand is very poor, very snobbish. I do not appreciate feeling as if I am not good enough to eat somwhere. That being said it does have great food.
Fabulous steaks – I like the atmosphere; cozy and parking is easy. My husband and I made a reservation for 7:00 P.M. on Christmas Eve. We had no problem getting the reservation. When we arrived we were told a few minutes which became about 25 minutes, so we sat at the bar and had a drink. This was fine. Best buy steakhouse Delicious steak First Impression was not the best. I never write a review but this place deserves a rating. I consider myself a streak lover. I had had steaks from all over the world. We were debating go to Taylor's or Maestro but from looking at the menus Taylor's would give me more value for my buck and great quality. Worst Service EVER! – My husband and I went to have dinner on a Saturday night. We understood that we did not have reservations so the hostess started a waiting list. Not to mention we had to wait 10 minutes before she got off the phone and did not even make eye contact nor greeted us properly. We sat and waited for about 20 minutes. One of our favorite comfort food places – We just ate here yesterday for lunch. The new manager slighted us a table for another party which came in later than us. She then lied to us and said they had reservations. If so why did she write their names down after ours? Guess she didn't think we saw that.
