Do not purchase a Taylor Morrison home unless you express to them that you are a of the same religious affiliation. Look it up. I was forced to close 0n a home after receiving verbal threats by the supervisor in Sarasota. He told me I would lose my deposit if I didn’t close after an occupancy permit was issued by Sarasota county. We have been in our home for just over a year now. We had so many issues and the ones we were unable to fix ourselves remain even after numerous calls. In doing our own repairs we found poor workmanship hidden throughout including dangerous electrical issues making us wonder if they actully have anyone really inspect the homes and how they get by city/ county inspections. 1. Gaps in all the framing including under headers. 2. Smashed out slab w sledge hammer to "find" (swear to God) the drain for shower, but left gaping hole and did not fill in. 3. Split studs throughout. 4. Leaks in garage plumbing. 5. Missing hardware in sliding door that does not line up, so after installing parts, still does not work. 6. Missing landscaping to be to code on distance under outside fuse box, so they piled building material under it and covered it with gravel. 7. Walk away from Taylor Morrison, out new house was not under the right track from the beginning... the punch list has not been finished after we lived in the house for one month, and the floor poped up more and more, we got tripped often, really, is it a new house? so far, nobody came to take care of it, claimed " we will send peopel tp come asap", we will see if they will have something improved.

We closed on our Taylor Morrison home on 12/31/2019. We had a list of items on our punch-list within the first two weeks. Most but all were taken care of promptly. Except for our sliders. We have two sets going out to our lanai. They are of the cheapest quality and had many defects. They had someone come out to buff scratches out but many were between the glass panes. Not totally upfront with their plans to prospective buyers. We are at a beautiful community that will soon be destroyed due to townhomes being built and which were not disclosed. Yet there’s no plan to expand the amenity center and HOA fees going up. This builder will be cutting down so much trees in this process that will destroy the landscape of this community. It really defeats the purpose of buying in the neighborhood. I now don’t see ourselves here long term. It’s really disappointing.

Do not purchase a home from Taylor Morrison. Their Community Management Division is completely mismanaged. They write the HOA documents to benefit their interest and not the homeowners. Before a neighborhood takes control of the HOA Taylor Morrison is in control of all decisions made on behalf of the neighborhood without any input or communication with the homeowners. I give zero star here. Taylor Morrison dose not provide any accurate information and will just your time and energy without any respect. This is the only company I see on market which ONLY cares about profits. There is NO customer care and absolutely NO respect to clients. I had a terrible experience with them from June to end of November! Please check the reviews here and all the review on Yelp. They are all true! I wished I saw all those reviews before I visited them back in June.

Don’t buy Taylor-Morrison they could care less about once they have your money at closings.. very nasty and unprofessional warranty department..waiting 3/4 months on fixes due to unprofessional cheap contractors they hire .. my next move is an attorney
