Scam!!!! They basically get you to pay $750.00 you dont have. By being very misleading and flat out predatory. After giving them $750.00 dollars to resolve my tax issue, I was told it would cost another $5000.00 to resolve my tax issue. They wanted the $5000.00 up front, but would be willing to break it up into 3 monthly payments. You live and learn never again. I opted to select this company after speaking with ************************* a case manager at Tax Quotes. After explaining my problems with the *** he promised to help reduce the amount owed, that the fees were going to $1,500 and a solution was going to be reached in less than a year. I've read some of the 1* reviews, and sense a theme. The initial consult fee ($600 upfront, or $750 in installments) represents upfront payment for tax professionals to navigate complex issues with federal & state tax authorities over a period of weeks in order to render a detailed baseline opinion. If I could do negative stars I would. They make over-statements about how they will get the *** to reduce penalties and when they don't do that they say "Bye". Their failure to provide services makes them the most expensive tax form filling service ever.

Had a consultation with these people and spelled out exactly why I can't even file my taxes because it might cost me $500 just to pay the tax prep person, and then the TaxQuote woman tries to tell me they can. help me, but it costs $750. I asked how much more after that, and she wouldn't even tell me. Basically they're trying to scam me out of $750 up front knowing I can't even give them a ***** toward the second phase of this thing. Well, they really didnt help me and they took all my money I havent and dont know what theyre talking about they dont because they were supposed to resolve my tax issue and I owe $1800 or $18,000 you know and I understand because they told me that I was a candidate for getting my taxes claim because Im Social Security and I work I know I had filed my taxes I understand that but it doesnt seem that they helped me and they took all my money almost $3000 something dollars and I dont see what theyve done to help me with my taxes... read more
