This guy saved me from surgery. I had another dermatologist whom I had seen for years. I made an appointment to see her, asking specifically for her since others were in the practice. When I got there, it wasn't until I was prepped for the examination that I found out she was no longer working there and that a physician's assistant would be seeing me. I have been more than several times over the years. Never had a long wait time. He also takes his time and makes sure I know what is going on. Not sure why others have complained about him being rushed. Just went February 3rd 2022 and everything went smoothly. The staff were more than friendly to me.

Dr. Tawil is very punctual, listens carefully, explains fully any care needed, and provides follow-up procedures. His staff is courteous and helpful, and his office spaces are always clean and reasonably comfortable.

I found him to be rigid, inflexible, argumentative, and defensive. His staff is also not very helpful or friendly. There are many other more professional and competent dermatologists in Tampa. I will not go back.

I was with Dr. Tawil a few years ago and i recall he was decent, but my insurance changed so I had to find another dermatologist. It recently changed back, so i went to make an appointment. The staff scheduled me and then all of a sudden put me on hold, came back on and said I missed an appointment 3 years ago. I stated i didnt recall that (although possible) and thought i had notified them. She abruptly told me (almost like the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld) to go find another doctor.

Dr. Tawil is a wonderful doctor. He cares about his patients. I have seen Dr. Tawil for six years now. My husband, kids, and both of my parents are also patients. The office staff makes the visit enjoyable. The office is very efficient and you are actually seen at or before your appointment time! I would highly recommend Dr. Tawil!

After numerous times of running up against their "office policies" I am done. They don't take credit cards, they will not allow a spouse to make or change an appointment time for the other spouse, even if both have been patients for years. They are inflexible in this. Time for a new doctor.

Dr. Tawail seemed knowledgeable and friendly, however, his staff is the most incompetent I have ever come in contact with. Additionally, my child's insurance company needed a pre-authorization for medication and I was told by his office that Dr. Tawail does not provide this service. So after taking time to go see the doctor I cannot even get the prescription filled since he refuses to call. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!! THIS WAS A DISASTER! Now I am having to find another dr. and start over.

The office does not take credit cards. The office staff is horrible. They do not understand insurance processing. They mix up appointments. Bad service. Long wait to be seen.
