She was great. Recommended DHA and Behavior modification before prescriptions.
Everything that they said about her was true….no manners. She treats my child like he has an infectious disease. My co-worker had an appointment with her and I warned her . She said she was not really thinking of going because of the bad reviews about her.
She has been an amazing Dr for my child for years. kind and caring, and offering helpful suggestions.
Dr. Tavyev is great. After trying several neurologist including at CHLA we found her. She has been very proactive in treating our daughters. Where other doctors have just give medication she really take every avenue to learn more about their condition to better treat them. She has a way of explaining everything so that I understand and my girls feel they are apart of the process not test subjects. Dr. Tavyev took the time to evaluate our hard-to-diagnose child from angles not previously considered. Where previous specialists were not able to provide definitive insights, Dr. Tavyev came through and understood that ASD does not always present in a “textbook” manner. She exhibited kindness, curiosity, efficiency, attention to detail, and a warm presence that made it easy to connect and relate critical information to her.
