Tavolo is a delicious choice for dinner. In the past, we have generally had the wine pairing dinners to try new things from the menu. With a change in the kitchen, the waitress let us know it will be offered again in the future, but not for a few weeks. My husband and I went for dinner prior to the Symphony tonight and were very disappointed. My Lamb Bolognese lacked flavor. I kept thinking as I ate that the flavor profiles would pop but nothing ! My husband had the crispy eggplant parmigiana and was also disappointed. The mushroom flatbread was enjoyable for sure and the uovo fritto salad did NOT disappoint. We had the fixed Valentines menu. It was good, the potatoes were not warm. We got just a taste of wine with each course, about 2oz. We waited a long time for our dessert, but loved the tirimusi hot drink. We will try something else next year.
Everything was perfect! Meat and cheese board, garlic chicken with Parmesan polenta, tiramisu and coffee. Excellent service and atmosphere!
So fantastic! The sea bass was amazing and I highly recommend the Parmesan and mushroom polenta. Great meal before a BOK concert.
