The food was only fair and the manager was arrogant. Won't be back nor recommend to friends.
Amazing food! We went for Valentine's Day dinner, and the specials were nothing short of spectacular. The shrimp and lobster lasagnette with bechamel sauce and pink vodka sauce was incredible. The service was outstanding. We will definitely return to Taverna!
This place is a very quaint and relaxing atmosphere, the food was all hand made from appetizers to desert. I think it's the best Italian my wife and I ever had.
Food was decent, but nothing to write home about. The waitress was friendly if a bit forgetful. The bartender was terrible, bordering on rude.
So my wife was disappointed with the portion size on a take out order when she worked the Bass Hall a few weeks ago. Called and the manager apologized profusely and mailed her a gift certificate. Used it today and we loved our meal and service. Besides the aforementioned portion snafu, we have never had a bad experience at The Taverna. I highly recommend the Gnocchi. Little puffs from heaven! Its not what you think it's gonna be. I'm a big guy and I didn't get full even eating appetizers a basic dish and dessert. Not worth what I paid for.
