I love this restaurant!!!! I think it has the coolest 'downtown' vibe!!!! It's beautiful! Love the brass-clad pizza oven!!!! The food is scrumptious every single time!!!! I love brunch on Sunday too!!! Excellent French toast!!! I always bring out of town guests to eat here because I think it's such a treat!!!👍👍👍👍
We love the food and the only reason I had yo go with 4 this time was based on service. Otherwise we loved it and highly recommend it!!!
We met there as a group to go on a bus with Texas Winos. Because there was a disconnect with Texas Winos and their bus there was a two and a half hour delay. But, since we all believe there are no coincidences, being at the Taverna was probably the best part of the day. The mimosas, the poinsettias, and the frozen Bellinis were wonderful! My wife and I walked into this place to find the waitress and the chef just sitting down in one of the tables. We were seated and the waitress did tend to us got us our drinks and our bread and butter. The bread would have been great but it tasted like it was microwaved so it was chewy. What I did like was that something I ordered wasn't in the menu but was created for me. I loved the taste in the food and because of it I overal like the place. Few minor adjustments and would rate the a 5.
