Great food! But no changing table, really? I had to change my baby on the bathroom counter... no one wants that! One of my favorite restaurants but won’t be going back as a family for a while.

RecommendedI hadn’t been to Taverna in a few years and I was pleasantly surprised at my experience this time! Tyler was friendly, informative, and did a great job managing a few tables that were seated all at the same time. They also were very accommodating to us with making a reservation and then changing the time. Food was delicious! Spicy Shrimp with Orzo is fantastic. Save room for dessert!
Had a great meal at Taverna this evening. I had the pasta and chicken special. it was excellent. Our server tonight was Taylor and she was near perfect, a rarity in Newark. She is a gem and the Taverna crew should be proud to have her.
