My overall experience was amazing. The decor was beautiful. The food was amazing. The wait was a little longer than expected before being seated and the place was loud. I thought it was going to be a more intimate setting and it wasn't. We went for our anniversary. I would not recommend the place if you want a quiet romantic setting. It's a little too pricey for that type of setting.
We had a very loud and disruptive table next to us. Four other tables asked to be moved because they couldn’t take the very loud table. I complained to management and nothing was done. Management walked around but didn’t say a word to the table. We went there for a nice dinner to talk amongst the four of us and we couldn’t even hear the person next to us. The owner and the general manager were there that night and not one step to ask this rowdy table to quiet down. Disgraceful
Perfection every time. It was super busy, but the staff was gracious and fantastic.
Great atmosphere with good food. The kids and the adults enjoyed it.

I live in NYC and always worried that this would be a pretty place but probably too touristy / not great quality and very overpriced ... I WAS WRONG . It was beautiful , casually elegant and charming - delicious food and drinks and regular NYC pricing . We all loved our dishes . Salmon , steak sandwich , specialty cocktails -great friendly and attentive and accommodating service too! It was a very special and memorable treat . THe inside and outside were very pretty- and you feel like you aren't In the city. Highly recommend
Tavern on the Green has undergone quite some renovation. Forget the lovely Feeling you had, of a warm interior design, of quiet Dining, of a posh athmosphere. Today Tavern on the Green feels like a high-priced staff Restaurant: busy People running around, Chefs cooking right next to your table, Patrons come and go - the Crew is very hospitable and friendly, the new Tavern is not. what a pitty.
Omg I absolutely love this place been here twice and wasn’t disappointed on both occasions it’s such a great place to go to. Romantic relaxing calming welcoming ❤️
