One of our favorite places in the city...happy about its latest incarnation. Dinner on the terrace under the Chinese lanterns in mild weather is so delightful.
Brings back many wonderful memories. This is where my parents took me for my 21st birthday on a beautiful summer evening (more than a few years ago!). Magical place!
Was so disappointed. They ruined the atmosphere. It use to be breath taking. Now it's plain Jane. Food was still expensive and was awful. Was a fond memory. The rebuilt one awful! The one star is only because it won't take my review without it but that's not deserved. Cabs and carriages can't even come out front if it anymore.

I thought Tavern on the Green was like something out of the movies when we were there in '96. Now I hear it is reopening and I am just dying to find out when!
