Worst Bar In The City!!! – This bar is awful! The food is bad, the drinks are watered down, the dj or wherever the music is coming from is THEE WORST! Amd the service is terrible too. I've been here three times for events planned by groups, the servcie is horribly slow, even though at times they weren't that crowded. And they are definitely anti-minority; I was not surprised at all to find they were owned by the same guy who owns McFaddens, who was just sued for racial discrimination against workers and patrons. SECURITY ASSAULTS WOMEN!!!! – I went to this bar and since my friend tripped the bouncer, who is 300 lbs, thought it was appropriate to grab me by the arm and carry me by my arm up two flights of stairs. I am a 27 yr. old 120lb FEMALE!!!! Who assaults FEMALES like that!!! When I went back the next day expecting an apology the same bouncer, Lou Delacruz, continued to yell at me (this was a monday at 5pm) I am shocked and appalled that an establishment would hire people like that. Tavern on broad.. an old fan but full of new hate!! – Disappointing place overall.... My friends and I had previously been to Tavern to enjoy Tuesday night fun and quizzo.. Despite this, the bartenders and management continued to be rude and overall disrespectful.. The security people went as far as to call one of our African American friends, a "ni*ger" in an act of pure unforeseen class. We won't be back, and I'd encourage you to take your business elsewhere.
