While visiting portland, we came here for dinner. The food is stellar and the service is top notch. Our recommendations - grilled octopus, the hush puppies and the crab dip! We will be back!
We came into town for the weekend and tried Tasty n Alder on Saturday. Even though the place was packed, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional! The food was incredible and we didn't feel rushed even though we were seated as brunch was ending. I loved that we felt so welcome. We will be back for sure!
First visit here. From the lemon ricotta pancakes, to the soft egg bread pudding, the food here is mind blowing. Tried 4 dishes including the hot omelet, pancakes, bread pudding and Bim Bop and all were unique, fresh and delicious. Would have liked to try everything on the menu but alas, we are leaving tomorrow. There will likely be a wait for a table but totally worth it.
The food here is so unique and fresh, you won't find it anywhere else. The combinations of flavors and the family style serving allows for sampling multiple dishes. ..genius! Awesome, adorable and friendly staff to boot!
One of the best places to come to for brunch. It's very tasty and the servings were great! Also the staff was very kind and the ambient was perfect. Can't wait to come back and taste the rest of the menu!
Enjoyed an amazing celebration brunch this morning at Tasty and Alder thanks to the fantastic food (Tasty Hangtown Fry, The Whole Toad, plus side of Maple Cumin Yams) and terrific wait staff! Best in Portland for sure!
