I’d give zero stars if I could. First off the air doesn’t work. Secondly, they obviously don’t have enough room for storage as they have a ladder and crates of drinks sat out. One “hot bar” has nothing on it. Another bar had a case of water sitting in it. You get a sheet of paper to fill out like a third grade math test. I selected edamame and fried rice. NO PROTEIN. This restaurant came up when I googled a good place to eat for the money. For $20 you get the "buffet". It's not really a buffet, but a design your own hibachi bar with great sides. For example, I got four pieces of sushi 🍣, a spring roll and a salad 🥗, but I could have gotten soup also or more 🍣. They also had ice cream 🍦. You want a really a bargain for lunch, this is the place. The food was served hot and prepared when ordered.
Absolute hidden gem. A Charleston staple.
Driving from Orlando to Long Island, we arrived late at our hotel. The clerk advised us several places that would still be open for us to have a bite to eat. Ended up at Taste of Tokyo a few minutes before closing but they were happy to seat and serve us. This may not be a fancy place but the food was excellent. We shared a hibachi dish which exceeded our expectation. Also several sushi rolls we ordered tasted wonderful. We certainly recommend Taste of Tokyo and that the staff for accommodating us that late.
