We visited on Sunday, July 9th, for our 2nd time Staff seemed to be overwhelmed or confused upon opening at 5.30pm. Food was good (not fabulous) and menu is really limited in choices. Overpriced of course but that is expected in restaurants like this.
Coddled eggs were scrumptious - portion a bit small for a lummox like me. (Served with too much bread ...) Lovely pastries, lovely ambiance Lovely espresso drinks and coffee (free refills!)
Our experience exceeded expectations! We enjoyed the food and the learning experience-watching the bakers was special and a highlight of our breakfast. And the lattes are amazing!
Very cool space, expensive but this is SF. Baked goods are phenomenal and so is the porchetta and egg breakfast sandwich. If you're in the Mission Don't miss this place.
