The Croque Monsieur makes us weak in the knees. But we dream about the bread. Make sure you time it right and arrive after 4:30 when the loaves come right out of the oven.

All good Frenchmen love bread and Bar Tartine to me has the best bread in SF. When I’m in town I try to pick up some fresh croissants for me and my team in the morning.

Best bread in SF, possibly America? Baked fresh every day at 4:30, grab it before it's sold out. Go for the coconut cream tart if they have it. Rochers and lemon bars are my other current favorites.

Good food, but some items arguably over priced. Five dollars for a croissant! Very trendy place with solid morning drinks, but you definitely paying for the hype with highly inflated prices.

Highly overrated and obnoxiously expensive! Many better bakeries in this city. Not sure what the hype is all about.
