Seeing as bread is kind of an essential ingredient in a grilled cheese sandwich, it is unsurprising that Tartine makes some damn good ones, considering their bread is more or less the best thing ever.
Omg loaf of sourdough bread is divine...they only make it in the afternoon & it sells out fast

On weekends, takes 30 mins but weekdays in/out in less than 10.
There's always a line but the morning bun is worth the wait.
Bring a tiny broom to sweep the crumbs from your beard.
Omg! All the praise is spot on! Got the pain au chocolat! Amazing!!
The ham and cheese croissants are worth the trip alone.
