I noticed there wasn't any recent reviews and there should be given the amount this company wants to charge in rent. The building is old and in a poor state of repair, but by the looks of the outside, you would never know it. Pipe leaks/water issues CONSTANTLY. Due to old piping that they don't want to invest repairs in. The main floor has flooded and has had ceilings come down multiple times due to water. Happy to leave, consistent cockroach problem with little to no treatment, waiting 2 weeks before even a gel treatment can happen. Landlord has near no care for privacy or proper notice, I’ve heard from other tenants that it’s common for him to simply unlock their door and enter with no notice or knocking. Overall a sour experience with the only highlight laying in the kind neighbours. In the future do better and learn how to give 24 hours notice instead of 11.
Agent will not show the apartment if though it says vacant on the website.
Infested with cockroaches and reluctant to improve.
20 + years ago I moved into Tarawood Place. It was a warm friendly homelike building back then and I enjoyed living here. I married and we bought a house so left in 2007 . When my marriage ended and our home sold. I was fortunate to move back to the same warm ,friendly family apartment. However my income has not kept pace with rental costs and physically I was needing more assistance with my living situation because of age and injuries.
