I'm a truck driver from Chicago, and had an unpleasant episode happen to me. An ambulance was called, I was rushed to the ER. From the moment I arrived, until the moment I was discharged. I was treated as if I were family! The hospital was full to capacity, I was lucky enough to get a room on the maternity floor. We have nothing bad to say about my husband's experience here. Tanner should be extremely proud of their staff. They have gone above and beyond what we expected. We have witnessed some of the most awesome personalities and talents from the ER to ICU to the 3rd floor. Thank you Julie from ER, Alicia and Jenna from ICU, and Emily, Jessi, Christina and, especially, Amy from the 3rd floor. (Sorry if I have forgotten anyone.) We were truly blessed with Doctors Arledge and Stanford.
Having spent time in several different hospitals in the region, I will choose Tanner hospitals when I have a choice in the future. Free parking alone makes it worthwhile. When I'm going to visit my sick friend or relative, or going to the hospital myself, I don't want the hassle of paid parking. I also love the vending machines that take credit cards. Too many hospitals don't think of these little user satisfaction things.
Nurse staff is awesome. The doctor that was there that night...not so much! He was unaware of my situation and didn't care to make himself aware. Then proceeded to tell me he forgot that I was in pain and aolpologized. I just want pleased. I'll be sticking to my regular hospital from now on if I have any more problems.
