August of last year was filled with the most horrible days of my life.My father had the misfortune to be transported via ambulance to this hospital and I use the term hospital loosely.After being given a dose of metoprolol my father coded,was brought back to be put on a ventilator then the nightmare began.He was left on the ventilator too long,,developed bedsores due to lack of care.was treated by apogee doctors who had to be reminded of his name. Urgent Care unit on HWY 27 has a very rude nurse practitioner. Attended relative recent Sunday afternoon. Accused patient of never having infection, even though lab result from same unit did report it. Stupid condescending attitude.
I've experienced Tanner on multiple levels. First was my Father, he was admitted to Tanner and they failed to include that he was diabetic on his chart despite multiple reminders. He was given non-diabetic foods and no insulin for an entire day. Then my mother was admitted and she was told to hook up her own leg constrictor (not sure of the exact terminology) because the nurses didn't have time.
