These apartments are not worth the money. Lots of maintnence problems and slow staff. The leasing office aside from Rebecca are all rude and under trained. Do not live here if you have a choice it is a terrible place to live and the people working there treat you like crap. It is alos way overprice for what you get. This apartment complex is going downhill fast while the cost of living here continues to rise. Ive had 6 roof leaks just in the last month. The patching job that the maintenance men do could be done better by a 5 yro. The management is absolutely uknowledgable, pathetic, rude, and frankly should all be fired. Recently they just fired the ONE person on the staff who knew anything. AND WHY DID THEY FIRE HIM, because "Lacy"- who doesnt know anything besides maybe how to chew gum, got him fired. I currently live at Tanglewood and just wanted to add a quick and honest review. No, these are not the best apartments in the world, they are older and, therefore, have their problems with age. However, the maintenance staff is very quick and courteous. Problems listed here are mainly residents fault - if you dont want bugs, keep your apt. clean, if you dont want mold, keep things dry. Awful isnt even the right word for this place. Take pictures of everything when you move in so you can note any pre-existing problems. Staff is BEYOND rude and bottom line inept. Go to apartmentratings.com, this place is FULLLLLLL of roaches and water leaks. Dont do it. DONT...DO...IT. What might seem decent for the price will probably end up like it did for me. A gigantic headache and maint. nightmare.
My total experience at Tanglewood Court has been and still is great!. I love the management team all the way to the maintenance team. Everyone there is so courteous and very helpful. I plan to be a resident there for a very long time. I give Tanglewood court six Stars.
This apartment complex is awful. Maintenance takes forever, apartment are really old and look like crap after 2 months you live in them. Water leaks, painted counter tops, bathroom with no vent and mold! Pools are horribly filthy, the gym sucks and the treadmill are always broken. the computers in the office for renters to use are really old and slow and printers have never worked. This property has been going down hill. Last year, I received a couple of letters from the office regarding several crimes that occurred in this property. I was scared and didnt renew my lease afterwards. The office staffs are not friendly.
I just recently moved out of these apartments. I am so glad that I did. They were going downhill and the management team frankly just didnt care at all. The rent continues to rise, but in a crappier and crappier apartment. I am now having the most difficult time getting my deposit back and since they are in violation of the law I am having to get a lawyer involved. This place was a nightmare to live at and now is a nightmare even after. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
Good so far! Close to work, 610, westheimer, galleria, I-10, supermarkets, gas stations and schools! Washer and dryer in unit. Price could be better! Units are old but re-modeled and recarpeted. Only concern, dog s#@\$! in green areas and management dont care about people letting their dogs s#\$1! in this areas that could be playing areas for kids, And when the sun comes up it really smells bad! Staff not so friendly, but I m not looking forward to make friends with them...
