awesome I love the selections,prices, and location. If I feel like shopping I don't need to drive out of town. Best of all the owner and staff are helpful, stylish, and make you feel extremely comfortable! I love every item I have purchased @ tangerine.
Ripe, and in season. I have long been impressed by the level at which Tangerine does business. They stock the best, newest, and most chic designs before the merchandise hits the pages of even the most obscure fashion magazines. Best in Bakersfield I love the store. The owner(s?) are knowledgeable, very friendly, and their service is top notch. I love the selection of boots, jeans & the lotions/bath/scented stuffs by Maile - from Kauai (very yummy). It's pricey, but it's a boutique... not Old Navy (thank goodness - I'm tired of supporting sweat shops). I highly recommend this place.
There's no place like Tangerine! Having lived in Los Angeles and New York, walking into Tangerine was a welcome breath of fresh air! I first went to this boutique because I was intriqued by the owner's quotes about fashion in the newspaper. I was not impressed I figured this store would be much better than it actually is. There is no real organization to this place. They don't have the clothes showed very well. The selection was really poor and they were out of many common sizes. Employees seemed nice but did not appear to know a lot about fashion.
More like Paris than Bakersfield I was lucky enough to spend five weeks in Paris on my honeymoon. My wife and I sought out small shops everywhere looking for things unusual and cool. Tangerine reminds me of those shops in Paris, a good selection of hand picked items and an experienced owner who cares about giving the client the kind of personal service sorely lacking in retail these days. Its worth the drive from L.A.
just ok This botique store needs a lot of work. Their setup is not very good, they have stuff just thrown on racks and no real setup. The inside does not look very nice, it is just plan. It would be better if they put some real design into it. They do have nice clothes that are very fashionable but the look of the actual store needs work.
not impressed I ws not impressed with this womens clothing store. Their selection was pretty poor in my opinion. The store is not set up great, it's hard to find stuff. They have clothing racks with clothing that dont really go together on the same rack. They have tables in the middle of the store, it is just not very nice looking inside. The customer service was good though, they do their best to try and help you.
