This place is awful they made a deal with my 80 year old parents on a trailer. My father was trading in a trailer and they told him what they would give them and he wrote them s check for the cost of the trailer minus the allotted amount for the trade this was the around the 20th of July. The trailer was scheduled to be delivered on August 19th he called them on the 17th to be sure they would be there with his home and they informed him they had reappraised his trade in and he owes 6000.00 more. Don't do it! We tried getting a home with these people and we kept getting the run around. We were close to signing paperwork so we thought. It was always something with the financing, we got approved, I guess, who knows, we had even got to the point of getting ready to pick colors etc, or so we thought. Then hurricane Harvey happened and we were told it would be another 6 months. Then Mike told us he was about to have to quit working there... but I see he's still working there. Hmmmm. Yes and no on if I would recommend. as far as the salespeople go, then I would recommend. Mike Waters was great to deal with, but it has gone downhill since the home was delivered. our home was delivered on Jan 6. We still have not gotten the repairs fixed and I still can't lock our sliding door from the outside, which is what we use for our main entrance. My husband left Lilo a 3 page list of repairs. Lilo came out and fixed the items on the first page and nothing else but he said it was done. We have been waiting for weeks... read more

lied about what cabinets were made of, had to wait 2 months for delivery of a lot model, broken trim on the house during the move and nearly 2yrs later have not come to fix it. guy they sent to put the house together didnt not do his job properly. Southern Energy had to send a warrant contractor out to clean up Tandems mess. lies from the salesmen, hypocrisy from the finance guy, and carelessness from one of the owners.....who was the one driving the truck to deliver the house when it got messed up and now wont fix it!
This place is a joke we are still waiting on our home to get fixed. No one ever calls you back when you leave messages. There always giving you the run around and never follow threw with what they tell you. We have been waiting almost a year to get our house fixed and our old house moved. DO NOT BUY FROM TANDEM
