I was in a crash w 3 deaths.Accident was on all news channels. I had no feeling n legs but pain.Test were on my legs/pelvis/hand only,Dr said ws sending me home w pain meds. My family hd 2 argue/insist on MRI/CT scans b done. After test Dr ran in room yelling Not 2 move me, MRI results= L3 Burst Fracture, Bone fragments in nerves & spinal chord, L2 pushed out of alignment,L1 & L2 both fractured, thecal sac torn open & leaking, T12 & above was pushed to the right causing scoliosis & 4 broken ribs. This hospital is horrible. Iv spent the last almost 11 hours in the waiting room. Only to be told that other ppl are pretty much more important then me. But here I am bent over in pain. But after walking away from the nurse so I don’t freak out of her lack on empathy she follows me and continues on. This isn’t my only issue. My last impatient experience my gallbladder should have been taken out and they refused so my GI dr wasn’t happy at all about it it. TO THE EXECUTIVE BOARD AND STAFF OF TAMPA GENERAL HOSPITAL, YOUR POLICIES TO NOT ALLOW A PATIENT TO HAVE A SPOUSE, PARENT, CHILD OR SUPPORT PERSON WITH THEM AS THEY ARE FACING SERIOUS AND SOMETIMES TERMINAL HEALTH PROBLEMS, IS INHUMANE AND IMMORAL. FORCING A CHILD TO GO THRU A VERY SCARY THING WITHOUT A PARENT IS UNBELIEVABLY WRONG, INHUMANE AND IMMORAL.
