Tampa General threw me away like trash.. then I went to Oak Hill Hospital who took very good care of me. they explained every situation I was going through .. they kept me for 4 days and made me feel human again ..thank God for the Angels there ...I was going through a lot with my lungs.. I couldn't breathe n I have a hernia that needed to be taken out and the doctors at Tampa General couldn't even explain to me about the hernia... Thank you for everything you make to us, especially the team of Burn ICU service, you guy's do a very good job here, always listening and taking care of everything.....recovery is a question of love, tough mind and patience, you give us all of them
I know its a Hospital to teach interns what they're doing and how to do it but some of the nurses assistants are very nasty and rude some of the doctors you cannot understand it's very hard to understand the doctors when they have a heavy accent the 9th floor nurses are pretty damn good some of their helpers are not the food was okay the cafeteria was expensive and McDonald's is outrageous
12/31/17 at 11:30pm walked into ER with 3year old with burns on face. Greeted right away and escorted right into a room. The nurses and immediate doctors we interacted with were kid friendly! I am so thankful to our nurse who saw us and discharged for making me feel like everything was going to be okay. Thankful to all of them!
Everyone in the ER was very caring and made me feel pretty safe.
When my local Dr in New Port Richey said he couldn't help me with my TBI, he referred me to TGH. I spent a whole day there came out with a full workup, followups, plans, prescriptions and local Drs that were able to help me! The staff was fantastic!!!
