The nurse and secretary helping with my mother over the phone were disgustingly Awful. God forbid you speak a language other than English and you have to translate over the phone. Attentive? Not a chance. Extremely rude to have my parents drive all the way to Niagara Falls just to be treated so terribly in person. My mother has severe arthritis and told me over the phone she didn't even feel comfortable being seen at this doctor. No compassion whatsoever. Do better.
Rheumatology is a challenging medical field due to the complex nature of the various symptoms patients present with. Any doctor in this field that dismisses new patients without benefits of any tests or their medical file should no longer be dispensing medical advice. Time to retire Doc!!
I am out of state and I went to see Dr. Tambar for a 2nd opinion.. please don't base your opinion on his previous reviews, see for yourself. He took his time over an hour he spent with me looking at previous medical reports. He agreed with the diagnosis, the difference with Dr.Tambar is he actually took the time to explain things to me. He is a very knowledgeable, and a compassionate doctor.
