Unique – I found the food to be terrific and very unique. Some of the highlights included the shortribs and the Tamarine prawns which were like lobster tails. The pricing was right as the dishes were more like in the $12-$18 range, with only one or two items more expensive. The flavored rice choices were great.
overpriced for tiny morsels – Tamarine is new and has a few kinks to work out. One major one is pricing. Everyone is doing small plates these days, but theirs (true to the word "small") were $18-21. The food was good, but for the price, I felt completely ripped off. Think appetizer size for $20! Service is another sore spot. Our waiter was friendly but completely spacy.
