excellent food but pricey Huge selection of tamales, including vegan and vegetarian. The quality of the food is excellent but at $3-6 per tamale, this can get quite expensive. There are special prices if you buy a dozen of the same item. It's mostly a takeout place, though there are a couple of small tables & chairs.

Tamara's Tamale is a Travelogue of Tamales This place is like the encyclopedia of tamales...a tamale travelogue...you'll get it all here, from California fusion stuff to Mexican standbys to Central American delicacies. I love taking home a big assortment for a party, or for the holidays--but order early. Tamara stops taking Christmas orders a couple of ... read more

They said that the masa shouldn't be dry, and the filling should be bursing with flavor. I was convinced that these would be the best tamales I've ever tasted! So one evening, being really hungry and in the mood for tamales, I head over t... read more

Tamara's Tamale is excellent Best tamales ever! Fresh and delicious always. The menu is large so lots of choices from savory to sweet. They are located in a tiny strip mall so parking is not so easy. Don't let that stop you though. It's worth it!
