excellent food but pricey Huge selection of tamales, including vegan and vegetarian. The quality of the food is excellent but at $3-6 per tamale, this can get quite expensive. There are special prices if you buy a dozen of the same item. It's mostly a takeout place, though there are a couple of small tables & chairs.
Tamara's Tamale is a Travelogue of Tamales This place is like the encyclopedia of tamales...a tamale travelogue...you'll get it all here, from California fusion stuff to Mexican standbys to Central American delicacies. Tamara's Tamale is excellent Best tamales ever! Fresh and delicious always. The menu is large so lots of choices from savory to sweet. They are located in a tiny strip mall so parking is not so easy. Don't let that stop you though. It's worth it!
