The Flats are the real deal. Positioned outside of town next to the historic Tallahatchie River you get to experience the real Delta. The Tavern offers a warm atmosphere and the music was authentic. Put it on your bucket list when you visit the Delta.
Such a fantastic hidden gem, one of many jewels to the crown of this beautiful state!
I've only been here an hour and I am already in love with the place.
No other guests & the central service rooms were closed, no music, nothing, wifi on the front porch of an service building, it was very quiet.
My daughter and I stayed in Miss Nellies on the 22 of August 2017 Happy Birthday Suella...we arrived at 9:30 pm, got acquainted with the beautiful surrounding of our cabin and headed for town to Greenwood which is 2 miles out...found a cheese pizza at Walmart..got back but couldn't find out how to start the oven..lol lets watch TV..lol with a loud sharp buzz noise..but who watches Tv when your at the Tallahatchie Flats..not us...we thought we had the place to ourselves until morning..lol..oh my..the stories..Great place to s... read more
