Arrived early to see Dr. Martinez-Alvernia and waited over an hour to get into see doctor while 4 people in waiting room went before me. Receptionist at desk said they were running behind. Was told by manager that my concern was a “first world problem”. Had to leave so I wouldn’t miss another appointment.
The staff was great. The wait time was short. The doctor took his time and listened and came up with a meaningful game plan, which I was relieved about. I was nervous to go to a neurologist because I’d heard that they could be dismissive, especially for a vague problem like I was having. Dr. Martinez-Alvernia was not dismissive at all and listened and explained everything well. I’m so glad I went to him.
